Jeff Fleming, JD, CFP®, CLU, ChFC, AEP, LUTCF is a client advocate for “law and money matters” and has been helping clients accumulate, protect and transfer their wealth for over thirty years. Jeff firmly believes that effective planning and wealth management requires the coordination of legal, financial and tax issues, so he created Law and Money Matters, a network of professionals and companies providing a client centered, multi-disciplinary approach to simplify the financial, tax, estate planning and elder law concerns of his clients.  The “Law and Money Matters” network include V.I.P Financial Matters, LLC, Hippo, Fleming and Pertile Law Office and V.I.P. Tax Matters, LLC.

Jeff is the founding member of V.I.P Financial Matters, LLC and is affiliated with First Allied Securities, Inc., an independent broker-dealer. Jeff is also a partner at Hippo, Fleming & Pertile Law Office and focuses his practice in the areas of wills and trusts, estate planning, elder law and nursing home planning, business planning, and estate and trust administration. He received his undergraduate degree from Washington and Jefferson College and his law degree from the Duquesne University School of Law. He is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania.

Jeff is a member of the Blair County Bar Association, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils, and he is a charter member of the Society for Certified Retirement Financial Advisors. Jeff has also co-authored a book titled Guiding Those Left Behind in Pennsylvania (Second Edition), published in 2006 and his estate planning articles have been published in a number of magazines and newspapers across the country. 

Jeff was the first elected president of the Blair County Bar Association and was awarded the County Bar President’s Award by the Pennsylvania Bar Association for his outstanding leadership (2007-2008). He is a past president and national committee person of NAIFA-Pennsylvania, and a past president of NAIFA-Altoona Area. He is a recipient of the 2013 Keystone Award, the highest honor awarded by NAIFA-Pennsylvania for outstanding dedication, leadership and service to NAIFA at the national, state and local levels.

Jeff and his wife Karen live in Hollidaysburg with their daughter, Isabel, who they adopted from Cambodia in 2001. Their adoption was featured on ABC's 20/20 television program. They also have three other adult children and five grandchildren. In his spare time, Jeff enjoys sports, cooking, traveling, hunting, sailing, motorcycling and watching movies with his family.
